Early 19th century ( possibly late 1800,s) by unknown artist of a smart gentlemen, more than likely a “journeyman” artist, beautifully painted, there is obvious damage to the canvas but we think this adds to the Rustic charm, it would sit well in most interior landscapes, the frame has original ticket which shows a framers based in Plymouth dating back to 1770 ‘s the canvas is lifting at corners from the frame but it is still good to hang and in its original state.
